Ducks Unlimited, Inc., the Nation's leader in wetland conservation, is seeking bids for the Texas Point NWR – Texas Point Weirs Project.  We are having a mandatory pre-bid meeting and site showing to interested contractors from our bidders list at 9:30 A.M. on Wednesday, August 23rd, 2023. We will meet at the boat ramp at the intersection of S 8th Ave and Quinn Street, Sabine Pass, Texas (29° 43’ 05.1”N, 93°52’30.9”W). Contractors interested in seeing the entirety of the project area should bring a boat to facilitate site access.
 
This project generally consists of the supply and installation 1,472 tons of rock rip rap for four weirs located on Texas Point NWR. This work shall also include performing the necessary mobilization, warning signage and other items outlined in the plans and specifications or associated with constructing the project according to the plans and specifications. The Contractor shall be responsible for any necessary pollution control measures. The unit price bid for the project shall be payment in full for supplying all materials, equipment, labor and any other necessary incidental items necessary for performing all operations described herein.
