LEGAL NOTICE CITY OF HERNANDO, MISSISSIPPI REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS
This is a Request for Qualifications for qualified firms or individuals to provide Energy Services for The Hernando Soccer Complex Lighting Project. When funded, the project will proceed to the production of construction plans & specifications, and bidding and construction phase services for the project.

Copies of the Request for Qualifications (RFQ) may be obtained at the Office of the Hernando City Clerk from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. or downloaded from Central Bidding at www.centralbidding.com.Qualified firms are invited to submit a statement of qualifications, in accordance with this request, to the City of Hernando, Office of the City Clerk, 475 Commerce Street, Hernando, MS 38632 no later than 11:00 a.m. local time on November 9, 2023.  In addition, Electronic RFQ’s can also be submitted at www.centralbidding.com. The Qualifications will be opened and reviewed by a selection committee.  The contract will be awarded to the responsible offerors whose proposal is within the competitive range based on evaluation and determined to be the most advantageous to the City. The factors to be considered in evaluation of proposals and their relative importance are as follows: 
 
1. Qualifications - List of qualifications of each staff person to be assigned to project.
2. Experience -   Information regarding the experience of the firm. This should include similar types of projects undertaken.
3.Capacity for Performance - Identify the title of staff available to be assigned to provide services.
 
 All proposals will be rated on the following system to determine the best offeror: Description and maximum points: Qualifications - 40; Experience - 40; Capacity - 20; Total 100 points.
 
Proposals will be reviewed by the selection committee using the above selection criteria.  Individuals or firms desiring consideration should submit 1 original and 7 copies of the qualifications by the time and date listed above.  After review of all submittals, the contract will be negotiated with the most qualified firm based on the defined scope of work.  The City of Hernando reserves the right to reject any and all proposals.
