Ducks Unlimited, Inc., the Nation's leader in wetland conservation, is seeking bids for a project on various NRCS WRP/WRE Easements located in Caddo & Natchitoches Parish Louisiana. The work on this project consists of earthfill/embankment and excavation, steel water control structures, culverts, flap gates, seed, fertilizer, mulch, and associated site preparation. This work shall also include performing the necessary items outlined in the plans and specifications and associated with constructing the project according to the plans. 
We are having a pre-bid meeting for the project on:
 
June 29th at 9:30 AM.
 
We will meet at the entrance of the Tri-State Project Site off the east side of State HWY 71 approximately 2.75 miles north of the intersection of State HWY 71 and State HWY 1, just north of Shreveport Louisiana (North 32°36’49.07” and West 93°48’48.55”).  We will park near the barn just inside of the entrance to initially meet then drive further on the property to show the site. The entrance to the easement is less than .25 miles south of North Shreve Steel. The Pre-Bid meeting is not mandatory but is strongly suggested that interested bidders attend.
 

Additional Notes/Requirements

Bids will be rejected if the bidder is not on DU’s pre-qualified contractors list. Bidders are encouraged to verify their pre-qualification prior to submitting a bid. Bids shall only be accepted from Prime Contractors with the necessary License Classifications required by the State Contracting Board to perform work outlined in the plans and technical specifications. It shall be the responsibility of the Prime Contractor to assure that he and all subcontractors comply with all state contracting laws.
