FOR SALE OF USED COUNTY EQUIPMENT
TWO (2) 22 YARD AUTOMATED GARBAGE TRUCK
 
ORDER OF THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
 
            THIS DAY there came on for consideration by the Board of Supervisors of Panola County, Mississippi, a report from the Sanitation Department of the need to advertise the sale of two (2) 22 yard automated garbage trucks which have been replaced with new units.  The Director of the Sanitation Department recommended advertising for bids.  After discussion, it was unanimously resolved that the following notice to bidders be posted in three (3) places at least ten (10) days prior to the sale and published two (2) times in The Panolian, to-wit:
NOTICE TO BIDDERS
            Notice is hereby given that the Board of Supervisors of Panola County, Mississippi, will on the 7th day of January, 2019, at 9:00 a.m., open all sealed competitive bids received by 9:00 a.m. on Monday, January 7th, 2018, for the sale to the highest and best bidder for cash, two (2) garbage trucks as follows, to-wit:
            One (1) 2015 Mack 22 Yard Automated Garbage truck w/Heil Side Loader
            VIN# 1M2AX34C5FM010154
 
            One (1) 2016 Mack 22 Yard Automated Garbage truck w/Heil Side Loader
            VIN# 1M2AX34C5GM010429
            Vehicles will be located at the Panola County Transfer Station at Courtland, Mississippi, for inspection.
            Sealed, competitive bids must be received in the Office of the Panola County Administrator on or before 9:00 a.m. on Monday, January 7th, 2019.  Bids may be delivered to the Panola County Administrator’s Office, 151 Public Square, Batesville, Mississippi 38606, or mailed to the Panola County Administrator, P.O. Box 807, Batesville, MS 38606 or electronic bids may be submitted at www.centralbidding.com.  The items will be sold to the highest and best bidder for cash.  The successful bidder will be expected to pay for items on the date of sale.  The Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids.  The property is being offered “as is” without any warranties, except for clear title.
