The West Baton Rouge Parish Natural Gas & Water Systems will receive separate sealed Bids for the Arena Water Well No.2, Contract No. 24-1841-06.  The work consists of drilling one 2,070 ft deep test hole, performing an electric log, taking sand samples, recommending screen setting for a 1,000 gpm production well. With approval, drill and set casing, screen, and foundation. Connect the well discharge to the existing 20” water line on Turner Drive as outlined on the Drawings.
 
The West Baton Rouge Parish Natural Gas & Water Systems will receive Bids until 10:00 A.M. local time, June 6, 2024, at Utilities Department Natural Gas & Water Systems, Main Office, West Baton Rouge Parish Governmental Building, 880 North Alexander, Port Allen, LA  70767. An electronic bid can be submitted through Central Auction House at:  https:www.centralauctionhouse.com.  Bids received after this time will not be accepted.  Bids will be opened and publicly read aloud immediately after the specified closing time.  The outside of the Bid envelope shall be marked with the project title, name and address of the Bidder and current Contractor’s license number.

Project to be constructed under a single prime contract by a Louisiana licensed water well contractor. The work is classified as water well drilling. 
 
Bid security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the Bid must accompany each Bid in accordance with the Instruction to Bidders.
 
No Bidder may withdraw his Bid within 45 days after the actual date of the opening thereof.
