Ducks Unlimited, Inc., the Nation's leader in wetland conservation, is seeking bids for the Guadalupe Delta WMA Hynes Bay WCS Replacement Project. We are having a non-mandatory pre-bid meeting and site showing to interested contractors from our bidders list at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 20, 2022. We will meet at the main entrance gate to the Hynes Bay Unit of Guadalupe Delta WMA, Refugio County, TX 77990 (28°26'6.45"N; 96°51'59.18"W).
This project generally consists of the replacement of four (4) 48” Flashboard riser structures with a sum total of 142 linear feet of 24” corrugated aluminum pie, one (1) 20 linear foot 24” corrugated aluminum culvert installation, one (1) 20 linear foot 18” corrugated aluminum culvert installation, 352 C.Y.-P of embankment for levee breach repair, road repair, and water control structure replacement. 337 tons of aggregate surfacing for elevating and resurfacing existing roadway and levee, and 113 tons of 12” rock rip rap for armoring pipe inlets, outfalls, and other eroded areas. This work shall also include performing the necessary mobilization, site preparation, excavation, water control, pollution control, seeding, and other items outlined in the plans and specifications or associated with constructing the project according to the plans and specifications. The Contractor shall be responsible for any necessary pollution control measures. The unit price bid for the project shall be payment in full for supplying all materials, equipment, labor and any other necessary incidental items necessary for performing all operations described herein. Unit prices are required as part of the base bid of this contract. Contract completion time is 90 calendar days.
