The work on this project consists of removing an existing culvert with a slide gate and replacing it with a weir box, culvert, and flap gate (WCS #2). Additionally, another culvert with a combination gate is to be installed in an existing drainage ditch (WCS #1) using imported fill.  The Contractor shall be responsible for any necessary pollution control measures.  The unit price bid for the project shall be payment in full for supplying all materials, equipment, labor and any other necessary incidental items necessary for performing all operations described herein.  Contract completion time is 90 calendar days.

We are having a MANDATORY pre-bid meeting and site showing to interested contractors from our bidders list at 10:00AM on Wednesday, May 3*, 2023. We will meet at the Cameron Prairie National Wildlife Refuge Visitor Center, located at LA-27, Bell City, LA 70630. Please see the attached vicinity map or Sheet 3 of the plans. *Pre-bid meeting and site showing has been changed to Wednesday, May 3, 2023 at 10:00 am.
