Notice is hereby given to those interested parties that the City of Gluckstadt is accepting sealed bids for the Gluckstadt Road median removal project. This project involves the removal of a portion of a raised concrete median island on Gluckstadt Road on the westbound approach to the intersection of Calhoun Station Parkway for the purpose of extending the westbound left turn lane approximately 120’. These improvements include the removal of the concrete median island (including island pavement, curb & gutter and approximately 11.25” of untreated granular material, saw cutting, etc.), the removal of conflicting traffic stripe, the installation of curb & gutter, the installation of concrete island, the installation asphalt pavement (tack coat is cost absorbed) and the installation of new thermoplastic traffic stripe.
