Separate sealed Bids for the Fort Polk Growth Management Infrastructure Improvements Sub-Regional Parkway, Phase 2, M.A. Project No. H1-12022-DD will be received at the Vernon Parish Police Jury Building, 300 S. Third Street, Leesville, Louisiana, 71446 until 10:00 AM (Central Daylight Time) on Thursday, July 30, 2020, and then at said time and at said office publicly opened and read aloud.
Scope of work includes: construction of 1.15 mile four lane boulevard section asphalt parkway with water and sewer utilities and two bridges.
The attention of Bidders is called particularly to the requirements for conditions of employment to be observed and minimum wage rates to be paid under the Contract (Davis-Bacon Act), Section 3 (Low Income Resident anticipation) of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968, Section 109 (Non-Discrimination) of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1974, Section 503 (Non-Discrimination Against Employees with Disabilities) and Section 504 (Non-Discrimination Against Individuals with Disabilities) of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, Segregated Facilities, Executive Order 11246, and all applicable laws and regulations of the Federal Government and State of Louisiana and bonding and insurance requirements.
Bidders must comply with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Davis Bacon Act, the Anti-Kickback Act, and the Contract Work Hours Standard Act.
Bidders must comply with the requirements of the State of Louisiana Contractor’s Licensing Law, LRS 37:2151-2163. Work Classification: Highway, Street, and Bridge Construction.

Copies of the Bidding Documents may be obtained at the Issuing Office of Meyer & Associates, Inc. located at 600 N. Cities Service Hwy., Sulphur, LA 70663. A Bidding Documents deposit of $250.00 is required. Access to electronic bidding is available through https://www.centralbidding.com.
