FOR SALE OF USED COUNTY EQUIPMENT
NINE (9) DUMP TRUCKS (2018)
 
ORDER OF THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
 
            THIS DAY there came on for consideration by the Board of Supervisors of Panola County, Mississippi, a report from the Road Manager of the need to advertise the sale of nine (9) dump trucks which will be replaced with new units.  The Road Manager recommended advertising for bids.  After discussion, it was unanimously resolved that the following notice to bidders be posted in three (3) places at least ten (10) days prior to the sale and published two (2) times in The Panolian, to-wit:
NOTICE TO BIDDERS
            Notice is hereby given that the Board of Supervisors of Panola County, Mississippi, will on the 2nd day of July 2018, at 9:00 a.m., open all sealed competitive bids received by 5:00 p.m. on Friday, June 29th, 2018, for the sale to the highest and best bidder for cash, nine (9) dump trucks, as follows, to-wit:

            Vehicles will be located at the County Shop in both Sardis and Courtland, Mississippi, for inspection.
            Sealed, competitive bids must be received in the Office of the Panola County Administrator on or before 9:00 a.m. on Monday, July 2nd, 2018.  Bids may be delivered to the Panola County Administrator’s Office, 151 Public Square, Batesville, Mississippi 38606, or mailed to the Panola County Administrator, P.O. Box 807, Batesville, MS 38606 or electronic bids may be submitted at www.centralbidding.com.  The items will be sold to the highest and best bidder for cash.  The Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids.  The property is being offered “as is” without any warranties, except for clear title.
