I have several questions on the floor plan; 1. A red cross in the restrooms appears to be no CD strobe, is this correct? 2. What are the two red boxes in the upper corners of the office. 3. What does the 2A mean in the light fixtures? 4. Can we use a suspended ceiling with 2'x4' recessed light in place of the 4' 2 bulb surface mounted light? 5. What is the triangle in the lower outer corners of the classroom, Printer? Who provides the support? Please rescan the drawing at a higher resolution. Thanks

Below are the answers to your questions: 1. The "red cross" in the restroom is a strobe symbol. Strobes are required in the restrooms. 2. The two red boxes in the upper corners of the office are 100 Amp Electrical panels, 120/240v 3. The lights are standard 4' - 2 bulb fixtures. 2A is the ballast requirement. 4. No, the lights need to be installed as drawn. 5. The triangle in the lower outer corners are where the printers will be located. The only requirement for the printers is to install a receptacle as shown.

Per the bid documents everyone is required to visit the site. How do we set up a site visit? I am unable to find educational drive on any map, where does the building go in relationship to the school?

Please call our Maintenance Supervisor William Brignac, Jr. at 985-839-7763 and he can walk you through the process.

Number 9 of the General Conditions states that the building must be delivered with 4 weeks from order date. The State Fire Marshall review has been taking 3-4 weeks, but before that submission is the time to draw a complete set of plans, get those stamped by a licensed engineer then send to the fire marshal and then build, deliver and set the building. 4 weeks is just not enough time. Is the site visit mandatory? Under General Specifications #4 What is the exterior junction box going to be used for? Is the overall size of the building nominal? Each manufacturer builds a little different, each 12' wide unit may be actually 11'-10" or 11'-9" but nominally 12'.
WPSBLB on 25-Mar-2014 9:38:44 AM CDT
1. If the modular building can't be delivered in 4 weeks because of Fire Mrshal issues, please deliver the buidling as soon as possible after that date. 2. The site visit is mandatory so the vendors can determine if any additional equipment is needed to properly place the modular buildings at the designated site. 3. The exterior junction boxes mentioned in the General Specifications #4 will be used to supply electricity to the exterior of the building to be used as needed. 4. The overall size of the building is nominal.
