INVITATION TO BID FOR QUALIFIED CONTRACTORS

The City of Pine Bluff, Economic & Community Development Department will accept bids for the new construction of three (3) single family houses and (2) two duplexes within the city limits of Pine Bluff, AR.  The bid documents are available for viewing at the office of Economic and Community Development at 716 S. Georgia St, Pine Bluff.   Official bid documents can be downloaded and bids can be uploaded through Central Bidding at www.centralbidding.com.  For any questions relating to the electronic download or the bidding upload process, call Central Bidding at 225-810-4814.
 
In order to be eligible to submit a bid, all interested contractors or their representatives must meet the minimum contractor’s requirement to do businesses in the City of Pine Bluff, Arkansas. All contractor qualifications on file must be current at the time contract is awarded and remain current throughout the completion of the project.
 
Sealed bids are to be submitted electronically or received by the office of the City Clerk, 200 East 8th Ave.  Rm. 202, City Hall, Pine Bluff, AR  71601 on or before Tuesday, October 5, 2021 @ 10:00 A.M. at which time they will be opened, examined and read aloud.  The consideration of bid award as the Department’s choice, barring extraordinary circumstances, shall be given to the qualified contractor(s) with the lowest responsible bid, with strong consideration given to timely performance.

The Community Development Department, reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive any or all informalities.  The successful contractor will be given seven (7) calendar days from the bid award to execute a contract with flexible conditions considered for the start of construction based on contractor availability.  to be provided by the Community Development Department. Questions concerning any of these items should be voiced before the submission of bids via the central bidding site.
