Sealed bids will be received by the St. Charles Parish School Board, 13855 River Road, Luling, Louisiana 70070, until 2:00 PM, April 19, 2012, for the following:LIBRARY BOOKS.

Bidding Documents may be obtained by contacting Dr. Kevin Nicholas at the St. Charles Parish School Board Office, 13855 River Road, Luling, Louisiana 70070, (985) 785-7258. Advertising dates in the St. Charles Herald-Guide, official journal of the St. Charles Parish School Board, shall be as follows: Thursday, March 29, 2012; Thursday, April 5, 2012.

Bid specifications are also available on the St. Charles Parish Public School Board website www.stcharles.k12.la.us. Specifications are located under “Quick Links”. Select “Online Bids, RFPs, etc.”

All bids must be accompanied by bid security, in the form of a bid bond, a cashier's check or certified check, payable to the Owner, in the amount of $2,135.00, written by a company licensed to do business in Louisiana.

Each mailed bid shall be sealed in an envelope with the Bidder’s name and address indicated in the upper left-hand corner and clearly marked on the outside as follows:

“BID ON LIBRARY BOOKS – APRIL 19, 2012, 2:00 PM”

Any bid received after date and hour shown above will be returned unopened to the bidder.

The St. Charles Parish School Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids, and to waive all informalities.
