West Feliciana Parish Government will receive bids for the purchase of the following:
 
SPRAY INJECTOR POTHOLE PATCHER MOUNTED ON TRUCK CHASSIS
 
DESCRIPTION: One-man operated Spray Injector Pothole Patcher which is operated from within the cab. Unit shall be truck mounted with a forward mounted boom and use the spray injections method to repair cracks, potholes, broad distressed area and shoulders at a minimum. All patching operations must be controlled from inside the cab for operator safety. The unit shall be capable of blowing water, dust, or debris from the pothole or surface to be repaired. A tack coat of hot emulsion shall be applied by the unit on cleaned area. Emulsion-coated aggregate must be injected into the repair area. The delivery of aggregate and emulsion to the patch shall not require augers, conveyors, or pumps to operate. Additional details:

• Dual aggregates hopper
• 260 gallon minimum emulsion tank
• Three injector nozzle
• 5 cubic yard hopper minimum
• External LED traffic control lighting
• Chassis mounted and rated for highway class use.

Sealed bids will be received until 10:00 A.M. Local Time, Wednesday, October 4th, 2023, by West Feliciana Parish Office, 5934 Commerce Street, Saint Francisville, Louisiana 70775.  No bids will be received after 10:00 A.M. on the same day and date.
 
Beginning as soon as feasible after the bid closing time, all bids will be publicly read aloud in the Parish Office, at the above referenced address, immediately after the 10:00 A.M. bid closing.  Bidders or their authorized representatives are invited to be present.
 
Bids, amendments to bids, or request for withdrawal of quotations, received after time specified for bid opening shall not be considered for any cause whatsoever.
 
Bids shall be firm for a period of ninety (90) days from the date of the opening of bids and no bid shall be withdrawn for any reason during this period of time except as allowed per R.S. 38:2214.C.

In accordance with LA R.S. 38:2214 (B) West Feliciana Parish reserves the right to reject any and all bids for just cause.  In accordance with La. R.S. 38:2212 (A)(1)(b), the provisions and requirements of this Section, those stated in the advertisement for bids, and those required on the bid form, shall not be considered as informalities and shall not be waived by any public entity.
