Sealed Bids will be received in the office of Mrs. Kerry Douglas, Purchasing Agent, in the Rapides Parish School Board Office Building, Sixth and Beauregard Streets, in Alexandria, Louisiana until 2:00 pm, Thursday, March 23, 2017 for
"Purchase of Delivery Van”
(BID NO 17-13)
After stamping to acknowledge timely receipt, bids will be publicly opened and read by the Executive Committee and/or staff of the Rapides Parish School Board. Sole responsibility for proper delivery of bid is that of the bidder. Any offer received after closing time (2:00 pm, March 23, 2017) will be returned unopened. After tabulating the results of the bids, the Rapides Parish School Board, at its monthly board meeting, will award the each surplus bus to the highest bidder meeting all the requirements.
All bids must be accompanied by an original bid security equal to 5% of the bid amount and must be in the form of a Certified Check, Cashier’s Check, Bank or Postal Money Order.

The Rapides Parish School Board reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids for just cause.
Bids may be submitted online through CentralAuctionHouse.com or hand delivered or mailed. Mailed and hand delivered bids should be in Sealed bid envelopes and clearly marked on the outside “Purchase of Delivery Van (Bid No. 17-13)” and delivered to:
