Notice is hereby given that sealed or electronic bids will be received by the Board of Supervisors of Panola County, Mississippi for the purpose of purchasing ONE OR MORE 28 YARD AUTOMATED SIDE LOADER REFUSE TRUCK, ONE OR MORE ROLL OFF TRUCK, ONE OR MORE 22 YARD AUTOMATED SINGLE AXLE REFUSE TRUCK, AND ONE OR MORE FRONT LOADER GARBAGE TRUCK.
 
Unpriced bid proposals will be accepted until 9:00 A.M. on Monday, August 28th, 2023, at the office of the Panola County Administrator, 151 Public Square, Batesville, Mississippi 38606, or by electronic bid submission at www.centralbidding.com.  Proposals should be sealed and clearly marked on the outside of the envelope as indicated: ONE OR MORE 28 YARD AUTOMATED SIDE LOADER REFUSE TRUCK, ONE OR MORE ROLL OFF TRUCK, ONE OR MORE 22 YARD AUTOMATED SINGLE AXLE REFUSE TRUCK, AND ONE OR MORE FRONT LOADER GARBAGE TRUCKS BID DATE: MONDAY, AUGUST 28th, 2023. 
 
Bid Specifications and Procedures may be obtained by contacting the Panola County Administrator’s office at 662-563-6200, located in the Panola County Courthouse at 151 Public Square, Batesville, Mississippi, 38606 on Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. or may be obtained at www.centralbidding.com.

Submitted proposals will be evaluated and vendors submitting acceptable bids/proposals will be invited to submit PRICED BIDS. 
 
FINAL BIDDING WILL BE HELD BY ELECTRONIC REVERSE AUCTION, BEGINNING AT 8:30 A.M AND ENDING AT 9:30 A.M., ON TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 5TH, 2023, AT www.centralbidding.com.   Sealed paper bids may be submitted in the Office of the County Administrator at the Panola County Courthouse, Batesville, Mississippi, on Tuesday, September 5th, 2023, no later than thirty minutes prior to the start time of the reverse auction and receive technical assistance in entering their bid in the reverse auction.
 
The Board expressly reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, or any part of any or all bids based on a lowest and best bid determination in the best interest of the County.  The Board reserves the right to waive informalities.
