SANDBLASTING, CLEANING, REPAIRING, AND PAINTING TREATMENT PLANT   
ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
Sealed Bids for the re-painting of the Sandblasting, Cleaning, Repairing and Painting Treatment Plant will be received by Mayor and Board of Selectmen of the City of West Point at the offices of City Hall located at 580 Commerce Street, West Point, MS  39773, until 10:00 a.m. local time on     June 4, 2019 at which time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read.  The Project consists of re-painting of Sandblasting, Cleaning, Repairing and Painting Treatment Plant.
The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is: Calvert-Spradling Engineers, Inc.; 7085 Highway 45 North Alternate, P.O. Drawer 1078; West Point, MS 39773. Prospective Bidders may examine the Bidding Documents at the Issuing Office on Mondays through Fridays during regular business hours, and may obtain copies of the Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office as described below.
Printed copies of the Bidding Documents may be obtained from the Issuing Office, during the hours indicated above, upon payment of a non-refundable deposit of $_150.00_ for each set.  Checks for Bidding Documents shall be payable to Calvert-Spradling Engineers, Inc.  Upon request and receipt of the document deposit indicated above plus a non-refundable shipping charge, the Issuing Office will transmit the Bidding Documents via delivery service.  The shipping charge amount will depend on the shipping method selected by the prospective Bidder.  The date that the Bidding Documents are transmitted by the Issuing Office will be considered the Bidder’s date of receipt of the Bidding Documents.  Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office.  Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office.

A pre-bid conference will be held at 10:00 a.m. local time on  May 29, 2019 at  WTP#1.  Attendance at the pre-bid conference is mandatory.  Representatives of Owner and Engineer will be present to discuss the Project.  Bidders are encouraged to attend and participate in the conference. Engineer will transmit to all prospective Bidders of record such Addenda as Engineer considers necessary in response to questions arising at the conference. Oral statements may not be relied upon and will not be binding or legally effective.
 
Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.
