NOTICE FOR BIDS

Sealed bids will be received by the Pearl River Valley Water Supply District until 11 AM on March 5, 2024, for the Guardrail Repair Project. All bids so received will be publicly opened and read aloud.  Bids received after this time will not be accepted, and will be returned unopened.
 
Bids may be submitted by either of the following methods:
 
Sealed bids will be received until 11 AM on March 5, 2024, at the office of the Pearl River Valley Water Supply District, 115 Madison Landing Circle, Ridgeland, MS  39157, P.O. Box 2180 Ridgeland, Mississippi 39158.  Bids shall be made out on the proposal form provided, sealed in an envelope, and plainly marked on the outside of the envelop: Bid for Guardrail Repair Project, Bid #24-600-20-99. The bidder’s Mississippi certificate of responsibility number shall also be marked on the outside of the envelope.  If any envelope is not so marked, said bid shall not be opened and considered. 
Electronic bids will be received until 11 AM on March 5, 2024, as a PDF via Central Bidding’s website at www.centralbidding.com.   Each bidder submitting a bid electronically as a PDF file shall include its Certificate of Responsibility Number as part of its PDF electronic bid submittal.  Any electronic PDF bid that does not include the bidder’s certificate of responsibility number shall not be considered. 
The project generally consists of the replacement of guardrail at 39 various locations along Bob Anthony Parkway (Spillway Road) on the Barnett Reservoir dam.
 
The plans and specifications for the project are on file and open for public inspection at the at the office of the Pearl River Valley Water Supply District, 115 Madison Landing Circle, Ridgeland, MS  39157, and at the offices of Neel-Schaffer, Inc., 215 Waterford Square, Madison, Mississippi, 39110, phone 601-898-8118. An electronic copy of the plans, specifications and contract documents may be procured, at no charge, by either of the following methods:

Mississippi State law requires a non-resident bidder to attach/include a copy of its resident state’s current law pertaining to such state’s treatment of non-resident contractors with its bid.  Any bid submitted by a non-resident contractor which does not include the non-resident contractor’s current state law shall be rejected and not considered for award.
 
The Pearl River Valley Water Supply District reserves the right to reject any and all bids, and to waive any formalities or irregularities in the bids received.
