MORGAN CITY HARBOR AND TERMINAL DISTRICT
SALE OF SURPLUS PROPERTY 
TAKE NOTICE, that the Morgan City Harbor and Terminal District will accept sealed bids until 11:00 a.m. on September 10, 2020, for the sale of the following surplus property:
 
The vessel or barge commonly known as the “John Wayne”, which is approximately 180’ by 54’ by 12’ deck barge built by LAD Services, in 2013 and its related which is an approximate 180’ by 54’ by 12’ deck barge built by LAD Services in 2013, and its related equipment and appurtenances currently located thereon (collectively herein, the “Barge”); currently located at 800 Youngs Road, Morgan City
 
All bids must provide a fixed purchase price and be delivered to the Morgan City Harbor and Terminal District, 7327 Highway 182, Morgan City, La. 70380, clearly marked “SEALED BID”.  Bids will be opened and read aloud at the above stated time.  The minimum bid for said Barge is $1,600,000.00.  The successful bidder must remove said Barge, within 14 days of acceptance of bid.  Dockage on the Barge shall be paid to the District after the 14th day from bid opening at the rate of $500 per day.  The Barge will be transferred to the successful bidder(s) “as is” without any warranty whatsoever.  Successful bidder must sign appropriate hold harmless and insurance agreement, prior to removal of Barge from the premises.  The Morgan City Harbor and Terminal District reserves the right to reject any and all bid(s) and the right to waive informalities.
