Local Vendor Initiative
The Natchez-Adams School District has initiated a program to encourage its schools and departments to purchase items locally and contract with local service providers where it is fiscally prudent and within the established state and federal statues, policies, and rules for public school and grant fund procurement. The term local is defined as those vendors within the Natchez-Adams School District geographic boundaries. Accordingly, all schools and departments are encouraged to purchase items or services locally whenever possible from local and/or minority providers.
