NOTICE TO BIDDERS
 
 
 
     The Mayor and Board of Aldermen of the City of Oxford, Mississippi, will receive reverse auction bids on the following:
 
Notice is hereby given that the CITY OF OXFORD BUILDING AND GROUNDS DEPT. will receive BIDS for the purchase of the following:
1 TRAILER MOUNTED BARK & MULCH BLOWER:

When submitting pricing information during the Real-time Reverse Auction Bidding Process, the submitted bid price MUST INCLUDE ALL OPTIONS in your proposal. THERE WILL ONLY BE ONE PRICE/AMOUNT FIELD for you to enter your bid, therefore your submitted bid amount must be your total amount for all options you are providing. Bidders will have the opportunity to submit their price/bid amount multiple times during the reverse auction if necessary, until the Reverse Auction time expires.
 
Bids will be received by an Electronic Sealed Bidding Process, administered by Central Bidding, at the CITY OF OXFORD PURCHASING OFFICE, OXFORD, MISSISSIPPI, on 12/11/2024 at 2:30 P.M. CST at which time bidding will begin and run until 12/11/2024 at 3:30 P.M. CST. Thereafter, bids will be taken under advisement and awarded accordingly.

Official bid documents can be downloaded from Central Bidding at www.centralbidding.com .  Electronic Bids, Bid Solicitations and Reverse Auction Bids can be submitted at www.centralbidding.com.  For any technical questions relating to the Electronic Bidding or Reverse Auction Bidding process, please call Central Bidding at 225-810-4814. You can also email Central Bidding Support at [email protected]. Please include all contact information, including company name, email address, telephone numbers and contact person in your email request.  Email requests will be filled within 24 hours of submission or registration.  Registration with Central Bidding and acceptance of the Central Bidding Agreement is not optional and is required in order to participate in this bidding event.  No exceptions will be made.
 
Specification responses (Bid Solicitations) are to be submitted online through Central Bidding no later than 12/04/2024 at 2:30 PM local time in order to be considered for this bidding opportunity. If/when approved, bidders will be sent an email notification informing them that they are approved to take part in the Real-time Reverse Auction Bidding Process. If you do not receive a Solicitation Approval email within 24 hours of the Reverse Auction Start Date/Time, you can contact CITY OF OXFORD to request more information.
 
DO NOT INCLUDE PRICING INFORMATION WITH YOUR SPECIFICATION RESPONSE (BID SOLICITATION).  BIDS WILL ONLY BE ACCEPTED ONLINE AT THE APPOINTED TIME AND DATE.
 
No bid shall be withdrawn after the scheduled date and time of the beginning of the bidding event without the written consent of the City of Oxford.  Within the limitations of Mississippi State Purchasing Law, the City of Oxford reserves the right to reject any or all bids received, to waive any informalities or irregularities in the bids received, or to accept any bid which is deemed most favorable to the City of Oxford.
 
The CITY OF OXFORD PURCHASING OFFICE reserves the right to utilize “anti-sniping” for reserve auctions. Anti-sniping is a tool that automatically extends the bid time for a reserve auction by five (5) minutes if a vendor places a bid in the final five (5) minutes of the reserve auction. The anti-sniping effect will auto extend the reserve auction bid time any time a bid is placed in the last five (5) minutes of the reverse auction and can auto extend the reverse auction multiple times until the bidding on the reverse auction ends.
