Sealed Bids will be received in the Purchasing Department, in the Rapides Parish School Board Office Building, Sixth and Beauregard Streets, in Alexandria, Louisiana until 10:00 am, Wednesday, October 25, 2017 for
"SALE OF SURPLUS EQUIPMENT”
(BID NO 18-23A)
After stamping to acknowledge timely receipt, bids will be publicly opened and read by the Executive Committee and/or staff of the Rapides Parish School Board. Sole responsibility for proper delivery of bid is that of the bidder. Any offer received after closing time (10:00 am, October 25, 2017) will be returned unopened. After tabulating the results of the bids, the Rapides Parish School Board, at its monthly board meeting, will award each line item to the highest bidder meeting all the requirements.
All bids must be accompanied by an original bid security of $100.00 and must be in the form of a Certified Check, Cashier’s Check, Bank or Postal Money Order.
The surplus equipment may be viewed at the location and date/time noted in the bid specifications.

The Rapides Parish School Board reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids for just cause.
