ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS – Bray Hendricks Park Improvements 
Sealed Bids for the construction of the Bray Hendricks Park Improvements will be received by Town of Jay at the office of the Jay City Hall at 3695 Hwy 4, Jay, FL 32565, until January 17, 2025, local time 4:00 p.m., at which time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read. The Project consists of renovation Town of Jay’s previous park. This renovation project will include a community disaster relief building with concession on the lower level, two individual restroom facilities, a maintenance building, an emergency generator, a reorganization of playing fields for baseball, softball, soccer, tennis, basketball, and football. In addition, the project includes access roads, parking areas, fencing, site lighting, and a public amphitheater. Project is being jointly funded through grants from Florida Commerce CDBG-DR program, Florida Recreation Development Assistance Program, and Rural Infrastructure Fund and is subject to associated regulations for each funding source.
Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a lump sum and unit price basis, with additive bid items as indicated in the Bid Form.

Baylen Street, Pensacola, FL 32502, David Tillar, 850?760?0332, [email protected] Prospective Bidders may examine the Bidding Documents at the Issuing Office on Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. and may obtain copies of the Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office or online as described below.

Bidding Documents may also be obtained from the Issuing Office during the hours indicated above. Bidding Documents are available on compact disc (as portable document format (PDF) files) for a non?refundable charge of $50, including shipping via overnight express service.  Alternatively, printed Bidding Documents may be obtained from the Issuing Office either via in?person pick?up or via mail, upon Issuing Office’s receipt of payment for the Bidding Documents. The non?refundable cost of printed Bidding Documents is $100 per set, payable to Dewberry, plus a non? refundable shipping charge. Upon Issuing Office’s receipt of payment, printed Bidding Documents will be sent via the prospective Bidder’s delivery method of choice; the shipping charge will depend on the shipping method chosen. The date that the Bidding Documents are transmitted by the Issuing Office will be considered the prospective Bidder’s date of receipt of the Bidding Documents. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office.
The project will be advertised on December 16, 2024, local time 10 a.m., at the Jay City Hall, 3695 Highway 4, Jay, FL 32565.
A pre?bid conference will be held on January 8, 2025, local time 10 a.m., at the Jay City Hall, 3695 Highway 4, Jay, FL 32565. Attendance at the pre?bid conference is mandatory to all potential bidders.
Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.

Bidders shall submit proof of qualifications to perform the Work as described in the Instructions to Bidders.
