NOTICE is hereby given that the City of Natchez, Mississippi, will receive written sealed bids at the Office of the City Clerk, 124 South Pearl St., Natchez, MS 39120 (601-445-7507), for the furnishing of all labor and materials and performing all activities specified in the Contract Documents, for the Canal Street Over Canadian Pacific Rail Bridge Repair Project.  The work in this project consists generally of supplying labor, materials and equipment as required to perform all related items of work covered under the plans and specifications for the CANAL ST OVER CANADIAN PACIFIC RAIL BRIDGE REPAIR PROJECT, consisting of the repair of the Canal St bridge in Natchez, MS. All other related items of work required to complete the project are shown and specified in the Contract Documents. The City of Natchez will receive sealed bids until the hour of 10:00 AM local time on Tuesday, July 23, 2024, and thereafter publicly opened, read aloud, and taken under advisement until the next meeting of the Natchez Mayor and Board of Aldermen.  Funding for this project is provided by the City of Natchez.

Additional Notes/Requirements

A Pre-Bid meeting will be conducted at 10:00 A.M., Local Time, on Thursday, July 11, 2024, in the upstairs conference room of the Natchez City Hall located at 124 S. Pearl Street, Natchez, Mississippi 39120. The Contract Time will be one hundred (100) consecutive calendar days. Liquidated damages will be $1,000.00 per consecutive calendar day thereafter.
