Sealed bids will be received by Ascension Parish Government at the Ascension Parish Government Purchasing Office, 615 E. Worthey Street, Gonzales, Louisiana 70737 until Tuesday, May 2, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. local time.  The bids will be publicly opened and read aloud for the following:
  
Bids will be accepted for the following herbicides:
 
1.     Aqua-King Plus, 2 X 2.5 Gal/Case
2.     Plateau Herbicide, 2 X 1 Gal/Case
3.     Roundup Custom Aquatic Terrestrial Herbicide, 2 x 2.5 Gal/Case
4.     Hardball Herbicide 2, 4-D, 2 x 2.5 Gal/Case 

No equivalent products will be acceptable.
 
Bids are to be accepted on a price per case basis only for a period of six (6) months to commence upon the date of approval.
 
Herbicides will be ordered on an as needed basis and shall be delivered to various Ascension Parish Government Departments throughout the Parish.  Freight charges, if applicable, should be included in total cost of unit price when bidding.
 
Each herbicide will be awarded separately to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder to result in the lowest cost to the Parish of Ascension.
 
Each bidder is solely responsible for the accuracy and completeness of its bid.
 
Specification/bidding documents may be obtained at the Ascension Parish Government Purchasing Department located at 615 E. Worthey Street, Gonzales, LA 70737.  Electronic Bids are accepted at Central Bidding. Central bidding can be accessed at http://www.centralauctionhouse.com. All addenda, corrections, and responses to this public notice shall be posted to http://www.centralauctionhouse.com.
 
Ascension Parish Government shall not be responsible if the bidder cannot complete and submit a bid due to failure or incomplete delivery of the files submitted via the internet.
 
The Parish of Ascension reserves the right to disqualify any Bid, response to a Request for Qualifications, or Request for Proposals if it is determined that the submitting business entity is not in good standing with the Louisiana Secretary of State or is not authorized to do business in the State of Louisiana.
 
Ascension Parish Government reserves the right to reject any and all bids for just cause.
