Request for Proposals
Commercial Property and Casualty Insurance
 
 
The Harrison County Utility Authority (HCUA) is issuing this Request for Proposal (RFP) to solicit pricing from firms capable of providing Commercial Property and Casualty Insurance Coverages. Proposals shall be submitted electronically, mailed, or brought in person, by no later than 10:00 AM June 8, 2021. All Lines of Commercial Insurance listed in the minimum specifications renew on June 18, 2021, except Flood Insurance Policies, which will be assigned by Broker of Record letter to the selected property insurance proposal.   All submittals will be referred to the Selection Committee for review and grading.
 
Interested proposers shall electronically register with HCUA’s electronic bidding service provider to obtain the documents and to participate in the process. Only proposers on the plan holders list shall be permitted to participate in the process.
The documents may be examined and/or obtained from HCUA’s electronic bidding service provider, Central Bidding at www.centralbidding.com. The documents may also be examined at the Harrison County Utility Authority office at 10271 Express Drive, Gulfport, Mississippi 39503. All participants must comply with all Federal, State, and City laws and regulations. All proposals shall comply with specification and documents provided or be considered non-responsive. The HCUA reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities. All Insurance companies must have a rating of A- or better by AM Best Company.  A formal proposal must be submitted emphasizing coverage details, and annual premiums. The HCUA reserves the right to amend the specification and proposal documents as may be necessary and agrees to notify all registered plan holders.
