Goal and Purpose of RFP: The district is requesting proposals/quotes for student USB headphones and wired USB mouses. All devices must be plug ‘n play and compatible for use with Chromebooks, Macs, and Laptops per bid specifications listed in the table in category 4. These supplies will meet the goal of providing needed technology supplies to the students to support distance, online, and classroom instruction. [Strategic Plan Goal V: Systematically replace and update technology.]

Pricing/quotes/specifications: Requesting quotes for student headphones and wired USB mouses for use with Chromebooks, Macs, and Laptops per bid specifications. All shipping costs must be included and will be bulk shipped to one location. Quantity Description 4,667 Computer Headphones with the following:
-Around ear ambient noise-reducing earcup headphones
-Replaceable leatherette ear cushions that may be sanitized and wiped down after use
-Adjustable plastic headband
-Stereo sound
-Must have a cord length greater than 5 feet
-Plug ‘n Play setup
-USB plug that is compatible with Chromebooks, iPads, Macs, PCs, and laptops

7,926 Wired USB Quiet-Click Computer Mouses with the following:
-Ambidextrous Shape
-At least 800 DPI sensitivity
-Plug ‘n Play setup
-Must be compatible with Chromebooks, Macs, PCs, and laptops

Shipping All shipping costs must be included These devices shall be provided to the Jones County School District no later than June 10, 2022.

The School District reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to determine appropriate and adequate responses to the written comments, questions and requests for clarification.

 Minimum Eligibility Requirements for Contract Award:  Applicants must comply with all applicable licensing and certification requirements specific to the proposed services, be registered and active through the site of sam.gov.
