Sealed bids will be received by the Ascension Parish Government at the Ascension Parish Government Purchasing Office, 615 E. Worthey St., Gonzales, Louisiana 70737 (mailing address PO Box 2392, Gonzales, LA 70707-2392) on July 19, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. local time for the following:

POLYMER (20% POLYDADMAC) 20% POLYDIMETHYLDIALLYLAMMONIA CHLORIDE, 2400 GALLONS @ (8.5 LBS PER GALLON) = 20, 400 LBS. 4 SHIPMENTS OF 600 GALLONS EACH DELIVERED TO 38 VETERANS BLVD AND OFF LOADED IN BULK TANK BY SUPPLIER.
 
COAGULANT (50% ACH) 50% ALUMINUM CHLOROHYDRATE, 4,800 GALLONS @ (11.18 LBS PER GALLON) = 53,664 LBS 4 DELIVERIES OF 1,200 GALLONS ON A QUARTERLY BASIS. DELIVERED TO 38 VETERANS BLVD AND OFF LOADED IN BULK TANK BY SUPPLIER.
 
CORRISON INHIBITOR – CARUS 3180 OR EQUIVALENT CONCENTRATION. ZINC- ORTHOPHOSPHATE CORROSION INHIBITOR -275 GALLONS (1 TOTE) DELIVERED TO 60 VETERANS BLVD AND OFF LOADED INTO BULK TANK BY SUPPLIER.
 
*All Chemicals should list a separate pickup price, drop ship and delivery price.

Wherever in specifications the name of a certain brand, make, manufacturer, or definite specification is utilized, the specifications, shall state clearly that they are used only to denote the quality standard of product desired and that they do not restrict bidders to the specific brand, make, manufacturer, or specification named; that they are used only to set forth and convey to prospective bidders the general style, type, character, and quality of product desired; and that equivalent products will be acceptable.
     
Bids are to be submitted for a one-year period.  Water Treatment Chemicals must be NSF60 certified.
Material Safety Data Sheets must be provided for each chemical. 
 
Chemicals must be delivered to Ascension Parish Public Utilities People’s Water Plant, 38 Veterans Blvd Donaldsonville, Louisiana within 30 days of order, if not the order will be cancelled and issued to the next qualifying bidder.            
Specifications/bidding documents may be obtained at the Ascension Parish Government, Purchasing Department located at 615 E. Worthey Street, Gonzales, Louisiana 70737. Electronic Bids are accepted at Central Bidding http://www.centralauctionhouse.com.  For questions related to the electronic bidding process, please call Central Bidding at (225) 810-4814. All addenda, corrections, and responses to this public notice shall be posted to http://www.centralauctionhouse.com.
 
The Ascension Parish Government shall not be responsible if the bidder cannot complete and submit a bid due to failure or incomplete delivery of the files submitted via the internet.
 
The Parish of Ascension reserves the right to disqualify any Bid, response to a Request for Qualifications, or Request for Proposals if it is determined that the submitting business entity is not in good standing with the Louisiana Secretary of State or is not authorized to do business in the State of Louisiana.  Ascension Parish Government reserves the right to reject any and all bids for just cause.
