Ducks Unlimited, Inc., the Nation's leader in wetland conservation, is seeking bids for a project at the Swan Creek WMA in Limestone, Co., AL.  We are having a pre-bid meeting for the project on:August 5th at 10:00 AM.
 
We will meet at the Swan Creek WMA headquarters at 21453 Harris Station Road, Tanner, AL 35671.   Pre-Bid meeting is not mandatory but it is strongly suggested that interested bidders attend.
 
The work on this project consists primarily of clearing and grubbing, installation of cofferdams, rehabilitation of an existing concrete weir structure and placing access road surfacing. 

Additional Notes/Requirements

Bids will be rejected if the bidder is not on DU’s pre-qualified contractors list. Bidders are encouraged to verify their pre-qualification prior to submitting a bid. Bids shall only be accepted from Prime Contractors with the necessary License Classifications required by the State Contracting Board to perform work outlined in the plans and technical specifications. It shall be the responsibility of the Prime Contractor to assure that he and all subcontractors comply with all state contracting laws.
