Description of Basic Work:  The contract work comprises of raising an existing earthen levee via opposite cast borrow, onsite stockpile material and placement of compacted embankment, a parallel crushed stone roadway, clearing, placing silt fence, constructing ramps, degrassing, fertilizing, seeding and mulching.
