The Sabine Parish Police Jury has declared the following real property as surplus:
 
1.986+- acre parcel being a part of Southeast Quarter of the Southwest Quarter (SE/4 of SW/4) of Section 1, Township 5 North, Range 13 West, L.M. Sabine Parish, Louisiana, formerly used as a garbage disposal site and being more particularly described as follows:
 
Beginning at the Northwest Corner of SE ¼  of the SW ¼ of said Section 1; thence North 88°33’00” East 752.12 feet; thence South 01°27’00” East 393.01 feet to the True Point of Beginning; thence South 51°29’11” East 152.95 feet; South 22°10’02” West 395.64 feet; thence North 63°14’23” West 270.06 feet; thence North 38°31’34” East 434.66 feet to the True Point of Beginning and containing 1.986 acres, more or less.
 
Sealed bids for the purchase of this property will be accepted by the Sabine Parish Police Jury until 10:00 a.m., February 16,2024, at which time the bids will be opened and read aloud in the Sabine Parish Police Jury Meeting Room, 400 S. Capitol Street, Room 101, Many, Louisiana.
 
A minimum bid of $3,972 is required. Any bids less than this amount will not be considered.
