Work on which Base Bid proposals are invited consist of furnishing all labor, equipment, and materials necessary for the construction of ten (10) streets located within St. James Parish in accordance with detailed requirements set forth on the plans and within these specifications including any attached appendices.











The principal items of work to be performed under the Base Bid consists of asphaltic concrete pavement, together with roadway patching, compacted aggregate shoulders, driveway transitions, excavation and linear grading, Class II base course, cold planing and other items of work in connection therewith. The total length of overlay included within this project is approximately 19,200 linear feet.
