ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS TO LEASE PROPERTY FOR
OIL, GAS AND MINERAL PRODUCTION

The Central Community School Board (“Board”) will accept sealed bids to lease the Central Middle School property for oil, gas and mineral production until 2:00 p.m. CST on August 5, 2010 at:

The Middle School Property, located in East Baton Rouge Parish, consists of approximately 20 acres and is more particularly described as:

Certain tracts of land situated in Sections 5 and 68, Township 6 South, Range 2 East, Greensburg Land District, being bounded northerly by Hooper Road (previously known as Canal Road); East by lands of Myrtle Verbois, et al. and Central Park Professional Plaza, LLC (formerly Joyce Lapeze DeLaveaga, et al.); southerly by Central Park Professional Plaza, LLC (formerly Joyce Lapeze DeLaveaga, et al.); and westerly by Sullivan Road within the geographical boundaries of the 18000’ TUSC RB SU U, Comite Field, as established by Louisiana of Conservation Order No. 1124-A-4, effective January 26, 1982.

The whole or any part of the above described property may be leased. Leases shall include a prohibition of surface operations, a minimum royalty of 26/100 and a minimum bonus payment of at least $1,000 per acre.

The Board reserves the right to accept bids deemed to be most advantageous and may lease the above described property or a lesser quantity of property than advertised upon whatever terms it considers proper. The Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
