Ducks Unlimited, Inc., the Nation's leader in wetland conservation, is seeking bids for a project at the Nicholas Thomas WRE property in Leflore County, MS.  We are having a pre-bid meeting for the project on:

We will meet at the site.  From the intersection of Hwy. 49 and Hwy. 430 in Greenwood, go South on Hwy. 430 (Humphreys Hwy) for 3.8 miles and the site will be on your right, just after you cross the levees at Pelucia Creek. (North 33.463727° and West 90.130570°)

The work on this project consists of clearing and grubbing, renovating existing levees, constructing new levees, installation of steel pipes and water control structures and installation of geoweb with crushed rock for spillways
 

Additional Notes/Requirements

Bids will be rejected if the bidder is not on DU’s pre-qualified contractors list. Bidders are encouraged to verify their pre-qualification prior to submitting a bid. Bids shall only be accepted from Prime Contractors with the necessary License Classifications required by the State Contracting Board to perform work outlined in the plans and technical specifications. It shall be the responsibility of the Prime Contractor to assure that he and all subcontractors comply with all state contracting laws.
