Sealed bids for:                                                       
NORTH OAKS HOSPITAL PARKING GARAGE REFURBISHMENT
                                                                                
will be received and opened on March 24th, 2021 at 10:00 a.m., in the North Oaks Diagnostic Center, Training Auditorium, located at 15837 N. Oaks Drive, Hammond, LA 70403.  Bids will be addressed to Hospital Service District No. 1 of Tangipahoa Parish dba North Oaks Health System, and will be publicly opened and read at the time and date above mentioned.
 
The successful Bidder will be required to enter into a contract with the above Owner and to furnish all the materials, perform all of the work, supervise, coordinate, administrate and be responsible for the work. 
 
A cashier's or certified check, payable without recourse to Hospital Service District No. 1 of Tangipahoa Parish dba North Oaks Health System or acceptable surety bid bond in an amount not less than 5% and of the largest possible bid must accompany each bid as a guarantee that if awarded the contract, the bidder will promptly enter into a contract and execute bonds in forms as outlined in the Specifications.  A performance bond and a payment bond with each in an amount of 100% of the contract will be required to be furnished by the successful bidder, and all costs in connection with such bonds shall be paid by the successful bidder.
                                   
Complete Bidding Documents are available in electronic form. They may be obtained from Letterman’s Online Plan Room at www.lettermans.com. Electronic copies can be downloaded at no cost to the Contractor. Printed copies are not available from the office of the Architect, however, arrangements can be made to obtain them from Letterman’s Blue Print and Supply Co. Plan holders are responsible for their own reproduction costs when obtained through Letterman’s. Bid related information is also available online and electronic bids may be submitted online at www.centralbidding.com. Please call 225-810-4814 for all questions regarding the online bid process. The electronic bid must be accompanied by a scanned copy of the bid security being furnished (either Bid Bond, cashier’s check or certified check). If furnishing either a cashier’s check or a certified check as the bid security, Bidder shall also include the original check in a sealed envelope to be delivered and received by the Owner at the date, time and place for submitting non-electronic bids. The Bidder shall include the name of the Bidder, the Project name and the words “Bid Security for Electronic Bid” on the outside of the sealed envelope. 
 
In order to be considered a qualified bidder, bid documents must be obtained either through Letterman’s or Central Auction House.
 
The Contractor/Bidder shall certify that he is licensed under R.S. 37:2150-2173 and show the Bidder’s name, his Louisiana license number, and the project name on the bid envelope which shall be addressed to Hospital Service District No. 1 of Tangipahoa Parish dba North Oaks Health System.                                                                                                        
A Mandatory Pre-Bid Conference will be held at on March 10, 2021, at 10:00 a.m., in the North Oaks Diagnostic Center, Training Auditorium, 15837 N. Oaks Drive, Hammond, LA 70403.
