Sealed bids for construction materials and labor for the Meridian Community College Weight Training Facility shall be received in the Meridian Community College Board Room of Hardin Hall of Meridian Community College - 910 Highway 19 North, Meridian, Mississippi until 2:00 PM CST, January 8, 2019, at which time, bids will be publicly opened and read. In addition, Electronic Bids will be received until 2:00 PM CST, January 8th, 2019 via electronic bid submission through www.centralbidding.com.

Awards based on conditions stated in the Instructions to Bidders, Specifications and indicated on Drawings. Contract Documents may be examined in the office of the Architect, Arjen Lagendijk - Architect, PLLC, 2322 Front Street, Meridian, MS 39301 - (601) 482-7303 and copies may be obtained from the Architect by posting $50.00 refundable deposit. Electronic download may be purchased online from Cental Bidding at www.centralbidding.com. Electronic bids can only be submitted at www.centralbidding.com. Bids submitted in duplicate on form provided, accompanied by Bid Security in form of a Bid Bond or Certified Check. Bids received on or before time and date stated for opening bids; no bid may be withdrawn after opening of bids for a period of 30 days.

Bids submitted in excess of $50,000.00 by a prime contractor or subcontractor must comply with Sections 31-3-13 (f), Mississippi code of 1972 as amended by Chapter 505, General Laws of Mississippi of 1985 by securing a Certificate of Responsibility from State Board of Public Contractors.
