ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS


Sealed bids will be received by the Pointe Coupee Parish Sheriff at the Sheriff’s Office located at 215 East Main Street, New Roads, Louisiana until 10:00 a.m. on Monday, January 7, 2013, and then publicly opened and read for the purchase of at least twenty-six (26) P25 Phase I & II capable 700/800MHz portable radios and the following equipment for each radio: battery charger, speaker mic with antennae, high gain antennae, belt clip, and programmed emergency alert button. The portable radios must be operable on the state LWIN P25 system AND the Pointe Coupee Parish legacy 800MHz system currently in use by parish law enforcement, fire and ems agencies. All equipment must be delivered on or before January 25, 2013. A one year contract for the radios and equipment will be awarded.
