ELECTRONIC BIDS for the construction of the Replacement of Trickling Filter Media at Thibodaux Wastewater Treatment Plant Partially Funded by a U.S. Department of Commerce Economic Development Administration (EDA) Grant, Grant No. 08-79-05497, Project No. 2020-098, consisting of the following:
 
This project will consist of the removal and replacement of the trickling filter media, removal and replacement of the rotary distributors with motorized rotary distributors, removal and replacement of the digester flare at the Thibodaux Wastewater Treatment Plant along with all other incidental work items.
 
will be received electronically by the City of Thibodaux until 10:00 A.M. local time, on Wednesday, February 2, 2022, at which time bids will be retrieved from the Central Auction House (CAH) website and read aloud at City Hall, Council Chambers, 2nd Floor, 310 West 2nd Street,  Thibodaux, LA 70301.  Only electronic bids submitted on www.centralbidding.com will be accepted.
 
Bid documents are posted on www.centralbidding.com.    To view these, download, receive bid notices by e-mail, and submit the bid you must register with Central Auction House (CAH).  Vendors/Contractors must submit their bids electronically.  For information about the electronic submittal process, contact Central Auction House at 1-833-412-5717.
 
A non-mandatory Pre-Bid Conference shall be held on  Tuesday, January 18, 2022 at 10:00 A.M. at the office of David A. Waitz Engineering and Surveying, Inc., 1107 Canal Boulevard, Thibodaux, Louisiana 70301.   The pre-bid conference will be conducted to discuss the Plans, Specifications, and project requirements. 
 
The Contract Documents consisting of the Plans, Specifications and project requirements for this Project may be examined at the following location:

No proposal will be considered unless it is accompanied by satisfactory evidence that the Bidder holds a Louisiana State Contractor’s License of proper classification and in full force and effect, in compliance with Act. Louisiana R.S. 37:2151-63.  Bids will be accepted from contractors who are licensed under the classification of  MUNICIPAL AND PUBLIC WORKS CONSTRUCTION.
 
This project is partially financed through a grant from the U.S. Department of Commerce Economic Development Administration (EDA) Grant and the City of Thibodaux.
 
This project will be partially funded with Federal funds from the United States Department of Commerce, Economic Development Administration and therefore is subject to the Federal laws and regulations associated with that program.
