The project scope is for the Bidder to furnish all labor, materials and equipment required to accomplish any one or all of the following work: traffic markings and other items as shown on the Proposal Form on streets, parking lots or other City of Flowood owned asphalt surfaces.  The unit prices and all work associated with the bids shall be honored by each Bidder during the period of for the period of April 01, 2022 through December 31, 2022
 
Official Drawings and Specifications being on file at the office of the City Clerk at Flowood City Hall located at 2101 Airport Road, Flowood, MS 39232.Copies of the Contract Documents and Specifications, may be obtained from the office of Benchmark Engineering & Surveying, LLC, 660 Katherine Dr., Suite 302 upon payment of $75 for each set, none of which is refundable or downloaded from Central Bidding at www.centralbidding.com.  For questions related to the electronic bidding process, please call Central Bidding at 225-810-4814.
 
Bids shall be submitted in one of the following manners:  1) Paper Form, in duplicate, to the office of the City Clerk in Flowood City Hall located at 2101 Airport Road, Flowood, MS 39232 in a sealed envelope designated as “Bid For City of Flowood Term Bid – Traffic Markings & Related Items.  The outside of said envelope shall bear the Bidder’s Name, and Certificate of Responsibility Number and shall be Addressed to: The Honorable Mayor and Board of Alderman, City of Flowood, 2101 Airport Road, Flowood, MS 39232; or, 2) Electronically at www.centralbidding.com.
 
No prospective BIDDER/CONTRACTOR may withdraw his proposal within SIXTY (60) DAYS after the actual date of the opening thereof.
 
The intent of Bids received by Owner is to establish unit prices for anticipated work that may be necessary to repair City Owned infrastructure in emergency or certain other situations.  Bids will be compared and awarded at the time services are needed on the basis of the required pay items, quantity and unit price for the work that is required and the availability of the Bidder.
 
The CITY OF FLOWOOD reserves the right to waive any information or irregularities or to reject any or all bids.
