NOTICE OF SELECTION OF DEPOSITORY
BY THE BILOXI PUBLIC SCHOOL DISTRICT

Notice is hereby given to all qualified financial institutions in Harrison County,
Mississippi, whose accounts are insured by Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation of the
Federal Savings and Loan Insurance Corporation, that pursuant to Article 3, Section 9,
Chapter 514, Laws 1985, (codified in Sections 37-7-333, 27-105-305, and 27-105-315 of the
Mississippi Code, 1972), and such other laws dealing with depositories, sealed and electronic
bids will be received and opened by the Biloxi Public School District, Biloxi, Mississippi, on
Monday, April 17, 2023, at 1:00 P.M. CDT in the Administration Building, 160 St. Peters
Avenue, P. O. Box 168, Biloxi, Mississippi, 39533 for the following:
THE PRIVILEGE OF KEEPING THE BILOXI PUBLIC SCHOOL DISTRICT
FUNDS, OR ANY PART THEREOF, FOR THE PERIOD OF JULY, 2023,
THROUGH JUNE, 2026, OR UNTIL NEW ARRANGEMENTS ARE MADE
ACCORDING TO LAW.
The sealed bids or proposals and/or electronic submissions shall designate the kind of
security, as authorized by law, which the financial institutions propose to give as security for
the keeping of the funds.
Specifications may be obtained in the District Business Office, 160 St. Peters Avenue, Biloxi,
Mississippi, 39532 or by visiting www.biloxischools.net. Official Bid Documents may be
downloaded, and electronic bids may be submitted at www.centralauctionhouse.com. Bids
shall be received electronically until the date/time shown above. For any questions regarding
the electronic bidding process, please call Central Bidding at 225-810-4814. Electronic
submittal of bids is not required.
The Board of Trustees shall select that financial institution or institutions proposing the
best terms, including interest and service, having in view the safety of such funds. The Board
of Trustees reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any irregularities in the
bids.
In order to be considered, all paper submitted bids must be sealed and should have “Bid on
Depository 2023-2026” written or typed on its face.
