The project consists of approximately 16,220 square feet of renovation and expansion to the WJMC Emergency Department and Mental Health Suite located on the first floor of the hospital across from the ICU/CCU Building of Medical Center Blvd.  Portion of the existing emergency department, mental health suite, endoscopy suite, and associate support spaces on the first floor of the hospital shall be demolished to accommodate the new interior build out.  The project consists of the demolition of 9 existing examination/treatment rooms to make room for the interior build out of a new Observation Suite with 10 observation rooms.  It also consists of the relocation and expansion of the triage area, ER Waiting room, and mental health suite.

A MANDATORY Pre-Bid Conference will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 28, 2015, in West Jefferson Medical Center?s Purchasing Department, 1101 Medical Center Blvd., Marrero, Louisiana. Vendors must sign in and be in attendance. All interested parties are invited to attend. Late arrivals will not be permitted to attend the mandatory pre-bid meeting.
