The St. James Parish Government will be accepting sealed bids for nine (9) corrosion resistant operational canal gates to attach to existing 24-inch iron pipes for drainage improvements. Bids will be accepted until 2:00 p.m. on Monday, April 15, 2013, in the Office of the Operations Director, Parish Courthouse, Convent, La.

Canal gate specifications can be obtained at the Office of the Operations Director, St. James Parish Courthouse Building, 5800 Highway 44, P. O. Box 106, Convent, La. 70723.

Interested parties to the above mentioned material must submit a sealed and completed bid clearly marked - "Canal Gates Bid" no later than 2:00 p.m. on Monday, April 15, 2013, at which time bids will be opened and read aloud.

Price, delivery, and durability will be considered in the awarding of bids.

The Council reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any formalities.
