Notice is hereby given that the Board of Supervisors of Monroe County, Mississippi, will accept UN-PRICED BID PROPOSALS to arrive on or before 9:00 A.M. on Tuesday, April 26, 2022, in sealed envelopes clearly marked UN-PRICED BID PROPOSALS FOR ONE (1) USED 2019 MODEL OR NEWER HYDRAULIC EXCAVATOR WITH LESS THAN 2500 HOURS AND WITH THE FOLLOWING SPECIFICATIONS:  SHALL WEIGH NO LESS THAM 50,000 LBS.; SHALL HAVE NO LESS THAM 170 HORSEPOWER; SHALL HAVE ALL LINES AND CAPABILITIES OF OPERATING A HYDRAULIC THUMB; SHALL BE EQUIPPED WITH A 48" BUCKET; SHALL HAVE A CAB WITH FULLY-FUNCTIONING A/C, HEAT, RADIO, SEAT BELT, SAFTY LEVERS FOR HYDRAULIC OPERATION, AND/OR BUT NOT LIMITED TO GAUGES, SWITCHES, AND ACTION ALARMS; SHALL HAVE A MINIMUM DIGGING DEPTH OF 21 FEET; SHALL HAVE A MINIMUM 18' BOOM REACH AND A MINIMUM 9' STICK; SHALL HAVE A STRAIGHT TRAVEL PEDAL; SHALL HAVE ON BOARD GRADE GPS WITH 2D CAPABILITIES; SHALL HAVE ON BOARD PAYLOAD CONTROLS/CAPABILITIES; SHALL HAVE A HEAVY-DUTY UNDERCARRIAGE, AND TRACK PADS SHALL BE NO LESS THAN 30" WIDE; SHALL HAVE A COUNTERWEIGHT THAT WEIGHS NO LESS THAN 8500 LBS.; AND SHALL HAVE A REAR-VIEW AND RIGHT-HAND SIDE CAMERA, according to specifications on file with the Clerk of the Board and online at www.centralbidding.com.  Proposals should be mailed or hand-delivered to Monroe County Chancery Clerk, P. O. Box 578, 201 West Commerce Street, Aberdeen, Mississippi 39730 or by electronic bid submission at www.centralbidding.com.
Notice is further given that the Monroe County Board of Supervisors will, at www.centralbidding.com, at 10:00 a.m. Central Time and ending at approximately 10:30 a.m., unless extended by Anti-Bid Sniping, on Thursday, April 28, 2022, accept electronic bids through a reverse auction for One (1) Used 2019 Model or Newer Hydraulic Excavator with less than 2500 hours, and with the following specifications:  shall weigh no less than 50,000 lbs.; shall have no less than 170 Horsepower; shall have all lines and capabilities of operating a Hydraulic Thumb; shall be equipped with a 48" Bucket; shall have a Cab with fully-functioning A/C, Heat, Radio, Seat Belt, Safety Levers for Hydraulic Operation, and/or but not limited to Gauges, Switches, and Action Alarms; shall have a minimum Digging Depth of 21 feet; shall have a minimum 18' Boom Reach and a minimum 9' Stick; shall have a Straight Travel Pedal; shall have on board Grade GPS with 2D Capabilities; shall have on board Payload Controls/Capabilities; shall have a Heavy-Duty Undercarriage, and Track Pads shall be no less than 30" wide; shall have a Counterweight that weighs no less than 8500 lbs.; and shall have a Rear-View and Right-Hand Side Camera, according to specifications on file with the Clerk of the Board and online at www.centralbidding.com.  Bidders may download official documents from Central Bidding at www.centralbidding.com, and Reverse Auction bids can be submitted through Central Bidding at www.centralbidding.com.  Any questions regarding the Reverse Auction process should be directed to Central Bidding at 1-225-810-4814.
The Board of Supervisors reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to select the bid deemed to be most advantageous to Monroe County.
In acquiring said Hydraulic Excavator, the Board of Supervisors expressly reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids or any part of any or all bids based on a lowest and best bid determination in the best interest of the County.  The Board of Supervisors may consider the following factors in determining the award:  date of delivery, services, previous performance and experience of bidder, transportation cost, cost of operation, quality, maintenance and warranty.
