Ducks Unlimited, Inc., the Nation's leader in wetland conservation, is seeking bids for a project on LDWF’s managed State property - Bodcau WMA GTR located in Bossier Parish, Louisiana. The work on this project consists of demolition and excavation, cast-in-place concrete, pre-cast deck installation, water control structure installation, concrete block mat installation, fencing, crushed stone surfacing, seed, fertilizer, mulch, and associated site preparation.   This work shall also include performing the necessary items outlined in the plans and specifications and associated with constructing the project according to the plans. 
We will have a pre-bid meeting for the project on:
 
July 10th at 9:30 AM.
 
We will meet at the LDWF maintenance shop at Bodcau WMA near the Bodcau WMA Shooting Range just off Bodcua Dam Road. The maintenance shop is approximately 3.3 miles along Bodcau Dam Road northeast of the State Highway 157 and Bodcau Dam Road intersection in Bellevue LA. Coordinates for the meeting location are: (N32°42'27.46” W93°31'6.47"). We will park adjacent to the LDWF maintenance shop to initially meet then drive farther to the project site. The Pre-Bid meeting is not mandatory but interested bidders are strongly suggested to attend.
 

Additional Notes/Requirements

Bids will be rejected if the bidder is not on DU’s pre-qualified contractors list. Bidders are encouraged to verify their pre-qualification prior to submitting a bid. Bids shall only be accepted from Prime Contractors with the necessary License Classifications required by the State Contracting Board to perform work outlined in the plans and technical specifications. It shall be the responsibility of the Prime Contractor to assure that he and all subcontractors comply with all state contracting laws.
