Ducks Unlimited, Inc., the Nation's leader in wetland conservation, is seeking bids for a project at the Reelfoot WMA in Lake County, TN.  We are having a pre-bid meeting for the project on:
 
August 31st at 9:00 AM
 
 We will meet at the WMA headquarters.  The address for the Reelfoot WMA Headquarters is 6850 Hwy. 78, Tiptonville, TN 38079.  It is located on the east side of Hwy. 78, approximately 6.6 miles from the intersection of Hwy. 78 and Lake Drive in Tiptonville. (North 36.455732° and West 89.401326°)  
 
Pre-Bid meeting is not mandatory but it is strongly suggested that interested bidders attend.
 
The work on this project consists of removing existing pipes with flashboard risers, installing new pipes with flashboard risers, backfilling around pipe culverts, replacing crushed rock surfacing at two pipe locations and seeding disturbed areas.

Additional Notes/Requirements

Bids will be rejected if the bidder is not on DU’s pre-qualified contractors list. Bidders are encouraged to verify their pre-qualification prior to submitting a bid. Bids shall only be accepted from Prime Contractors with the necessary License Classifications required by the State Contracting Board to perform work outlined in the plans and technical specifications. It shall be the responsibility of the Prime Contractor to assure that he and all subcontractors comply with all state contracting laws.
