NOTICE is hereby given to all interested persons or firms that the Jackson County Board of County Commissioners is accepting sealed bids at the Jackson County Administration Building, 2864 Madison Street, Marianna, Florida 32448 until 2:00pm CST on Thursday, August 3, 2023, for the following project:

BID NAME: SPECIAL MAGISTRATE

DESCRIPTION: The Jackson County Board of County Commissioners is soliciting qualified Florida licensed attorneys to provide Special Magistrate services in accordance with the Jackson County Code of Ordinances 2023-09, Chapter 18-28 and Florida Statutes, Chapter 162, as a Special Magistrate.

Services include conducting hearings as provided in Chapter 162, Florida Statutes and in accordance with the Jackson County Code of Ordinances related to the enforcement of the County Code of Ordinances, to include but not limited to, code enforcement, animal control, building codes, Fire Marshall, other adopted ordinances, land development regulations, permits, and policies of the County.  

SUBMISSION DEADLINE: August 3, 2023 by 2:00 pm CST
 
Bids will be opened and recorded by the Purchasing Office of the Jackson County Board of County Commissioners located at 2864 Madison Street, Marianna, Florida on Thursday, August 3, 2023 at 2:00pm CST, or shortly thereafter.

List of bidders and awards (if any) shall be announced at a meeting of the Jackson County Board of County Commissioners. Bid award will be made to the best bidder, but the right is reserved to reject any or all bids. County reserves the right to award the contract on a split order or lump sum basis.
