Notice is hereby given that the Rankin County Board of Supervisors (Owner) will receive competitive sealed BIDS for a General Contract for the furnishing of all labor and materials for the Construction of:
UT NEELY CREEK DITCH FLOOD IMPACTS PROJECT
Project No. WE-21255-5.06
Benchmark No. B-7741
which includes but is not limited to grading, drainage, erosion control, driveway paving, and installation of pre-cast concrete arch bridges and all other associated work as shown in the plans and specifications at the office of the:

BRANDON, MS 39042
Until 10:00am local time on Friday, April 28th, 2023 and then at said office publicly opened and read aloud.

[email protected] for a cost of $150, none of which is refundable.
A Pre-Bid Conference will be conducted on Wednesday, April 12th, 2023 at 10:00am local time in the Board Room of the Rankin County Board of Supervisors at the above listed address. Attendance by a principal, project manager or estimator of any prospective bidder is recommended but not mandatory.
Bid Security in the amount of 5% of the bid must accompany each bid in accordance with the INTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS. Attorneys-in-fact who sign Bid Bonds, Payment Bonds or Performance Bonds must file with each bond a certified and effective dated copy of their Power of Attorney.
Minority and Woman Owned Business Enterprises are solicited to bid on this contract as prime contractors and are encouraged to make inquiries regarding potential subcontracting opportunities, equipment, material and/or supply needs.

Bidders acknowledge that, with respect to all matters of procurement and contracting related to the captioned bid project, Rankin County Board of Supervisors will follow the procurement requirements set forth in 2 C.F.R Sections 200.317 through 200.327.
No prospective CONTRACTOR may withdraw his proposal within SIXTY (60) DAYS after the actual date of the opening thereof.
Each bidder shall write the Certificate of Responsibility number and Mississippi Contractors License number on the outside of the sealed envelope containing his proposal. Proposals shall be submitted in duplicate, sealed, and deposited with the Clerk prior to the hour and date designated above.
RANKIN COUNTY reserves the right to waive any information or irregularities, to accept any bid deemed to be in the best interest of the County, or to reject any or all bids.
The Contract Time is Two Hundred Forty (240) consecutive calendar days with liquidated damages being Five Hundred Dollars ($500) per calendar day thereafter.
