Bids for construction of the above captioned project will be received on Thursday, October 17, 2019 at 2:00 pm at the Office of the President in the Administration Building, Southwest Mississippi Community College, 1156 College Dr., Summit, Mississippi, 39666, and read aloud. Bidders are welcome to attend the bid “opening”, but attendance is not mandatory. SUBMITTAL OF BID PROPOSALS: Each bid must be submitted in either a sealed envelope or electronically transmitted in Adobe® PDF format. All bid proposals shall include fully executed bid form(s) and all additionally required documentation in accordance with the “Instructions to Bidders” which are bound in the Project Manual and in accordance with the Bid Laws of the State of Mississippi. The Owner reserves the right to waive irregularities and to reject any or all bids. ELECTRONIC BID SUBMITTAL: Shall be submitted electronically through the Central Bidding portal – www.centralbidding.com where plansets in electronic format are also available.

SCOPE OF THE WORK: This project entails removal of existing roof system down to original concrete roof deck and installation of new roof system as indicated in the contract documents.
