Ducks Unlimited, Inc., the Nation's leader in wetland conservation, is seeking bids for the Justin Hurst WMA – Relift Pump Replacement & Wetland Enhancements Project.  We are having a non-mandatory pre-bid meeting and site showing to interested contractors from our bidders list at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday June 6th. We will meet at the Justin Hurst WMA Check Station located at the termination of Jones Creek Terminal Road (off S.H. 36) across from Phillips 66 Jones Creek Terminal on Justin Hurst WMA, Brazoria County, TX 77990 (28°56'55.9"N; 95°26'18.9"W).
 
This project generally consists of the supply and installation of a relift pumping station, pump station roofing system, 74 C.Y. of cast-in-place concrete, demolition and removal of the existing pump station, 1810 C.Y.-P of ditch/canal excavation, 10,513 C.Y.-P of levee creation, 773 tons of rock rip rap, 88 tons of course surface grading, and 12 water control structures (two being located within the relift station and two being provided by TPWD) located on Justin Hurst WMA Greenwing Impoundment. This work shall also include performing the necessary mobilization, site preparation, water control, pollution control, concrete, seeding, and other items outlined in the plans and specifications or associated with constructing the project according to the plans. The Contractor shall be responsible for any necessary pollution control measures. The unit price bid for the project shall be payment in full for supplying all materials, equipment, labor and any other necessary incidental items necessary for performing all operations described herein. Contract completion time is 150 calendar days.
