ADVERTISEMENT FOR CONSTRUCTION BIDS
In accordance with the LA Public Bid Law, La. R.S. 38:2211, et seq. sealed bids for construction of an Office Building of approximately 4,035 sq. ft. at 10202 Jefferson Hwy, Unit I, Baton Rouge, LA 70809 from licensed contractors will be accepted until 2:00 p.m. CST on Tuesday, November 20, 2012 at the offices of:

or electronically via Central Auction House at www.centralbidding.com
Successful Bidder shall begin work immediately upon Notice to Proceed. Building must be substantially complete no later than 180 calendar days from Notice to Proceed. Liquidated damages of $250 per calendar day for which the work is not timely substantially complete and $250 per calendar day for which work listed on the punch list is not complete and close-out requirements are not met apply. No weather delays or extensions of time of any kind will be allowed.
Complete Bidding Documents may be viewed at the above address. Copies are available at Ritter Maher Architects, LLC, 4880 Bluebonnet Blvd, Baton Rouge, LA 70809 upon deposit of $75 per set. Deposits will be refunded according to La R.S. 38:2212(A)(1)(e), if returned in good condition.
Bids must be accompanied by security in favor of the LACCRRF, equal to at least 5% of the sum of the base bid and all alternates, in the form of a certified check, cashier's check or bid bond meeting the requirements of La. R.S. 38:2218. Successful Bidder must furnish a Performance and Payment Bond meeting the requirements of La. R.S. 38:2219.

LACCRRF reserves the right to reject any and all bids for just cause. The provisions and requirements of La. R.S. 38:2212, those stated in this advertisement, and those required on the bid form cannot be waived.
